The best versions of this wine come from the sandy soils of the Roero, which give a gorgeous minerality to this wine that you won’t find elsewhere. Lorenzo’s Arneis is therefore a true expression of terroir. White flowers, chamomile, pear and apricot. Well balanced, medium bodied wine. One thing worth noting is that Lorenzo releases his Arneis almost a year after his fellow producers as he believes this wine benefits from time in the cellar. This selection comes from various Arneis grapes of the the Serra Lupini hill in Sant’Anna of Monteu Roero. Grown on soils of marine origin and trained Guyot style, these vines undergo a classical summer green pruning. Grapes are harvested manually in mid September in small boxes and pressed softly; the grapes ferment at a controlled temperature in stainless steel containers to preserve all aromas. After fermentation, the wine rests throughout the winter on its yeasts, it is bottled in spring and ripens some months in the bottle. Colour: limpid and bright yellow Nose: elegant and broad flavours; flowery notes of camomile and fruity golden apple, apricot and pear Mouth: fresh and mineral with a good balance between acidity and alcohol and a pleasant almond aftertaste.

The Roero Arneis "Sernì" has a straw-yellow colour, its perfume is wide and refined with scent of fruit, flowers and leaven. The taste is well-balanced for the acidity supported by a rich structure, with a long ending. These characteristics make this wine ready to be drunk since the following spring and persist at best for some years.

Demarie-Roero-Riserva
Roero is made from pure Nebbiolo grapes, which reach their apex in Barolo and Barbaresco, and in Roero produce a rare fine and elegant wine which has experienced great success over only a few years time. The nose is ethereal and intense with hints of violet, raspberries and blackberries, tinged with elegant touches of spice. On the palate, this is a full-bodied wine, harmonious, warm and powerful. Sensations of violet and red fruits with an undertone of the pleasant spiced fragrances of licorice and cocoa.

Matteo-Correggia-Roero-Rosso-2013
Correggia's Roero makes the most of the region's top sites to present a wine that is typical of the variety but also more approachable and enjoyable on release. The wine has all of the floral aromatics, ripe red fruit and brisk acidity without the iron clad tannins of its more famous neighbors. This wine is ideal with the rich Piemontese cuisine and is a great foil for the truffles of the region.

Arneis is a piemontese grape variety originated from Roero. The color is straw yellow with greenish shades. This wine is produced and aged in stainless steel tanks and it is fresh and easy-drinking. Its floral bouquet makes it delicate and pleasant. In the nose we can find scents of white and yellow flowers and some notes of fresh fruits such as peach, melon and papaya. In the mouth, the intense sapidity typical of the grape variety underlines its minerality. Excellent as an aperitif and with fish starters, grain and vegetable soups and main courses of fish. To try also with fresh cheese.

Monchiero-Carbone-Roero-Arneis
Native to the Roero, where it has been grown since the XVI century, Arneis is one of the oldest Piedmontese white grapevines. A low-yielding variety with medium-small berries and compact clusters, it ripens in the second half of September. ReCit is produced from grapes grown on several vineyards planted in different villages in the Roero, epitomizing what this magnificent land is capable of offering us. “ReCit” means “little king” in the local dialect, and we believe that this isexactly what Arneis represents in the context of native Italian varieties. A fragrant wine with an intense nose, it is distinguished by a long, well-balanced acidity, well-supported by plenty of body and structure. Its fragrance also means that it is ready to drink in the spring following the vintage, and can keep for several years at its peak. An ideal match for fish and starters in general, with its substantial structure it can also be recommended for serving as an aperitif and throughout the meal.
