From Germany’s famed Pfalz region, our Riesling delights with aromas of ripe honeydew and lemon chiffon. The broad and full-bodied wine fills the palate with creamy lemon, bright citrus and a hint of sweetness, finishing with a zesty thirst-quenching zing. Cultivated on steep inclines in the Pfalz region, these grapes are hand-picked, then de-stemmed and gently pressed. We use a Riesling-specific yeast in a cool and slow fermentation to accentuate delicate flavors. By aging the wine sur lie and stirring it regularly for up to two months, we impart roundness to the body and create soft, creamy notes.

Zesty lime and pineapple notes are tart and invigorating on the nose of this spry, off-dry Riesling. The palate is fruity and forward, offering easy, open layers of juicy white grapefruit, apple and yellow cherry. A spry, concentrated wine with wide, general appeal to enjoy now through 2021. A light-hearted Riesling that was seriously produced in harmony with nature. A successful top Rieslings from this house are spectacular masterpieces. From the pig's stomach Kallstadter brings Bernd Philippi his best wines. In some years, the dry wines are of an almost baroque abundance, but retain a enchanting elegance and liveliness. Results are surprisingly durable wines with strength and body. But over time they come into full play and probably are among the best ever produced dry Rieslings. The Pinot Gris variety was first identified in the Pfalz region. Villa Wolf Pinot Gris is made in a full-bodied, dry style with fresh, unoaked fruit and a crisp texture. Half of each vintage is made in large, neutral oak casks for depth and complexity. The other half is done in stainless steel to preserve freshness and enhance the vibrant fruit. An excellent partner for salmon, chicken or pork.

Their philosophy is to employ environmentally sound viticultural techniques, and in the cellar to use the least amount of intervention possible. Christine has obtained an organic certificate for her wines from the Deutschepradikat. The Pfalz region is known to make Riesling that is a bit drier in style and fuller in body, and this wine is no exception. Starts out with tropical fruit aromas on the nose, pineapple, mango, and is rich and round in the mouth finishing with good acidity in a dry, yet crisp finish.

The taste of the Reichsrat von Buhl Sauvignon Blanc Typical of the Sauvignon Blanc are the currant and gooseberry flavors. Even a breath of mowed grass can be seen. This light yellow colored Riesling from the Pfalz region in Germany opens with a mild apricot and floral bouquet with a hint of lime.
