This Montepulciano is a flexible wine that pairs especially well with casual, everyday Italian cuisine.

Notàri is the ancient name of our town, Notaresco, but also a name we chose to conjure up the character of our hills, gazing out to sea with the Gran Sasso massif standing guard. The first vintage was in 2003 and Montepulciano is a blend of three heirloom vineyards of different ages, aspecting and training systems.

It is ruby red in color and has bold inviting aromas of cherries and spices that explode from the glass to offer a fine, fresh, and well-orchestrated palate.

Fabiano Montepulciano has an intense ruby red colour complimented by a bouquet of ripe fruit and bitter almond. The wine spends a short period in oak barrels imparting a light wood and vanilla characteristic backed by rich flavours of red berry fruits, leading to a long finish in the mouth.

Because of its unique location, Valle Reale has redefined Montepulciano d’Abruzzo: at 1,100+ feet above sea level, Valle Reale’s vineyards are nestled into one of Italy’s most beautiful national parks. This rich wine is made from 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grown in the oldest estate vineyards on soils rich in chalk, clay and pebbles. Harvested by hand in November, the grapes are gently pressed and macerated with the skins for ten days to ensure ideal color concentration and structure. Ruby-red in color, this wine is surprisingly concentrated. With silky tannins and layers of dark berry fruit and spices, this is a rich and aromatic Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. Full-bodied and firm, yet supple. It is ready to be enjoyed with hearty pasta dishes, roasted poultry or lamb, and slow cooked ribs.
