From pure Montepulciano is born il Marche Rosso lgt ‘Rubinia’. The name reflects the gemlike value of this wine. Refined in casks for two years, it rests a further twenty-four months in bottles. The Montepulciano here reveals its powerful balance of red fruits and tannins elegantly tamed by a full-bodied and enveloping structure, embellished by subtle notes of spice.

The unmistakable original version of Fazi Battaglia’s amphora bottle has been given a new look in white glass. 100% Montepulciano. It has a bright, fresh colour. Notes of acacia flowers, pomegranate and hints of cherry on the nose. In the mouth the wine is charming and caressing, but mineral and tangy at the same time.

Cùmaro is one of the most important wines in the story of Umani Ronchi, and it can also be numbered among the founding members of the family of fine wines from the Conero area. It was created in the mid-1980s to celebrate the Montepulciano varietal from an area close to the sea with highly calcareous soils, using methods based on very strict selection of grapes in the vineyard and what were, at least then, modern techniques of vinification and aging. The name Cùmaro is a tribute to Mount Conero, komaros in Greek, which means "arbutus": an evergreen shrub which grows freely in its woodlands. Since 2004, the wine has been entitled to the appellation “DOCG (Guaranteed and Controlled Denomination of Origin) Conero Riserva”.

COLLINE LUCCHESI ROSSO D.O.C. This wine, widely recognized among the most representative wines of the area of Lucca, is obtained from a selection of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Ciliegiolo grapes, together with other varieties which grow in our vineyards The vinification follows the traditional methods. It is a wine which can be enjoyed throughout the courses of a meal, whose bouquet improves with time. It shows a ruby red colour, a fine bouquet with remarkable aromas reminiscent of sweet violet and wild berries. It is an harmonic, sapid, lightly tannic wine. Serving Temperature : 16–18 °C Pairings : with white and red meats, and particularly with traditional dishes of the local cuisine of Lucca.

Bright straw yellow color with light green reflections. Aromas of yellow flowers, peach, green apple, jasmine with mineral hints. Dry, savory, fresh, fruity with great drinkability. Serving temperature 14° approx. as aperitif, pasta and rice dishes, seafood salads, fish, green salads.

Deep ruby red with purple reflections that become garnet red with ageing. Intense nose, typical of Montepulciano. Supple and elegant with underbrush berry notes.

Produced with Verdicchio grapes from our vines in Maiolati Spontini and Castelbellino, in the classic zone of the Castelli di Jesi, this wine is also available in an amphora bottle. Due its individual characteristics, this wine is best drunk when young. From its very fine and delicately fruity aroma, its fresh, full and balanced taste, there is a prevalence of sensations deriving from peaches and apricots. This wine is an ideal accompaniment for first courses with seafood-based sauces, fish in general and white meats.

Pale straw yellow with green reflections. Intense, typical, white flowers, green apple aromas. On the palate, intense, quite warm, tasty, fresh, quite balanced, slightly bitter finish.

Pelago joined the list of the most sought‐after Italian wines in the world in 1997, its first year of production, when it won the Best Red Wine trophy at the International Wine Challenge in London. Pelago is the result of the insight of our technical group, who had the idea of mating Montepulciano with Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a wine which retains the style and personality of the indigenous grapes while broadening its aromatic profile and complexity by adding qualities of the Bordeaux style of wine. To maintain a high standard of quality, we chose to produce it only in those years which provided grapes suitable for a fine wine. The name "Pelago" derives from pelagos, meaning "sea" in ancient Greek, and suggests the wine's marine character and the special qualities of taste and aroma which are typical of wines produced near the coast.

Casal di Serra was one of the first truly "selected" Verdicchio made in this variety’s production area. It was created in the 1980s by selecting the best grapes grown in the Montecarotto vineyard, and later enriched with grapes from another three plots situated in the most suitable areas for cultivating Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. All the values of a great indigenous variety find expression in this wine. Contact with its own natural yeasts during fermentation and in the aging process gives Casal di Serra particular properties of richness and personality, without altering its fine balance and special elegance.
