Wine in Long Island

This Rosé has lovely balance between the fresh fruit, fine tannins, good minerality and graceful acidity. It is the visual and taste portrait of the Hampton's high summer. Serve chilled, solo or as a complement to almost any food. It is the perfect summer wine.

This bright, copper-colored rosé has wonderful aromas of ripe apples and lilac with hints of freshly cut hay and a spritz of citrus. The mouth-feel is playful yet refined with ripe fruit flavors buoyed by vibrant acidity and elegant minerality. The wine finishes with great balance, a touch of saline and natural CO2 mousse. A classic Wölffer Rosé, this vintage is the first to be finished in a screwcap closure.

Hip, hip, rosé!  Cheers are heard around the vineyard quite often for our Bridge Lane Rosé.  Cabernet Franc-based, you'll find notes of guava and peach blossom followed by flavors of strawberry and watermelon.  Available in: 750ml bottle, 3L box,  20L keg and 375ml can.

Dark red brick in color. The aroma is filled with fine sandalwood, prunes, ripe blueberries and hints of liquorice. The mouth-feel is elegant but firm and there is a nice round fruit component that is wonderfully balanced by great minerality, fine toasted oak and layers of ripe tannins. There is a vibrant long finish with a hint of bell pepper typically for Cabernet Franc. This is a great food wine and will improve nicely with age.

Following a long standing old world tradition of fermenting different grape varieties together, two distinct clones of ripe cab franc and a small percentage of malbec (aka Cot), were hand harvested on the same day, destemmed and soaked for two days at 52 degrees F, then set to fermenting. This co-ferment achieves a harmonious integration of the characteristics of each variety. After malo-lactic conversion in barrel the wine aged for nine months in seasoned French oak, then bottled at its bright and juicy height. Tasting Notes The Cot-Fermented bursts with fresh raspberry and blackberry aromas. On the palate there is a bright mouthful of vibrant ripe fruit that finishes with delicate savor. Our Early Wine is an homage to the “Jungwein” of Austria, a style that originated in the Burgenland and was brought here by our friend and consultant Winemaker, Helmut Gangl. Grapes for our Early Wine are harvested two weeks earlier than the rest of our white wines, providing the green apple aromas and flavors it is known for. An expressive nose displays candied peach, citrus, pear. The palate is as fruit-forward as the nose with more green apple, lemon and a touch of sweetness that is balanced by zesty acidity.

With violets, raspberry, sweet tobacco and black pepper on the nose, this Cabernet Franc displays juicy blackberry and currant nuances, which carry the wine into its dry, peppery finish. Cabernet Franc is quickly becoming a signature varietal of the North Fork of Long Island, and this wine is a standout among its neighbors. Aged for 10 months in Hungarian oak.

Shiny pale yellow in color. Creamy aromas of ripe fruit, white peach and ripe pear fill the nose. The mouth-feel is elegant, wonderfully pure and light with plenty of sweet fruit notes, fine acidity and nice creamy yeast layers for texture. The finish is long and filled with fruit, hints of crushed stone and a lovely ripe skin character. This is a very elegant and satisfying Chardonnay that will pair beautifully with food.
