Organic red wine. Intense purple colour. Aromas of very mature red and dark fruits. Black pepper and subtle roasted tones appear in the aftertaste. On the palate, it is an enveloping wine intensity, well-structured and persistent.

Organic Mourvedre/Syrah/Petit Verdot/Cabernet Sauvignon Blend Aromas: Ripened fruits with toasted vanilla and spiced notes of oak, toffee, and chocolate. Tasting Notes: Intense at the beginning, full bodied and very well balanced with notes of compote fruits, black cherries that turns into toasted and sweet notes of the oak. Fermentation/Aging: Stainless steel fermented with skin. Aged for 8-10 months in American and French Oak barrels. Organic Syrah/Mourvedre Aromas: Vibrant aromas of cocoa-tipped blueberries, dark fruit, with subtle notes of black pepper, thyme with hints of toasted oak. Tasting notes: On the palate, dried herbs, tart orange peel and rasberry-plum are alive thanks to vivid acidity and a juicy mouth feel. Vanilla and toasted caramel come through on the finish. Organic Mourvedre/Syrah/Cabernet Sauvignon Blend Black plum, balsamic,dark chocolate, with subtle coffee and tobacco notes. Tasting notes: The palate is generous, satin-textured and ripe with black plum. Notes of roasted coffee bean, cinnamon, slate, walnut and black olives combine towards a lengthy finish. Fermentation/Aging: Stainless steel fermented. 18 months in American and French Oak barrels and 18 months in bottle. Aromas: Wonderful aromas reminiscent of stone fruits, intense peach, apricot, apple, honeysuckle and jasmine blossom. Tasting Notes: Voluptuous, rich mouth-feel of tropical fruits. The palate is layered with peach, nectarine and white floral notes including honey and orange blossom. The origins of the winery date from 1916 when Juan Gil Gimenez, great grandfather of the present generation, started getting involved in the world of wines and built a winery in the heart of Jumilla. His son, Juan Gil Guerrero, dedicated his whole life to the wine business, but it was the third generation who really consolidated the winery. Juan Gil Gonzalez together with his brother Paco, the founder’s grandsons, forged an image of quality, reliability and efficiency. The present generation continually strives to maintain and improve the Juan Gil standard which is evident through the remarkable wines.

The blend of Monastrell and Garnacha gives richness and structure to this fresh, fruity rose. Floral notes and red fruit on the nose. A very balanced wine. Pairs wonderfully with appetizers, grilled vegetables, fish, soups, pasta and salads. Blend: 70% Garnacha, 30% Monastrell

The winery is located in the Valle de La Aragona, inside the Murcia district of Jumilla and surroundings. The vineyards are 64 acres of old Monastrell vines, all head pruned and 45 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon planted 25 years ago. Clio is a blend of 70% old vines Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark cherry red. Intense nose of ripe fruits (cassis) and confit fruit mixed with sensations of toasted coffee and licorice which bring finesse and elegance. Strength, flesh, savory and opulence combine in the palate of this wine that little by little develops in the bottle.
