slowly the bouquet changes and recalls the very intense taste of ripe fruits. This change depends on the soil where it has been growing, that’s similar to the soil where Nebbiolo vines are planted

The Dolcetto grape we produce comes from our own vineyards, where we find land typical of the Elveziano territory (of more ancient formation, calcareous-clayey from the shaded color towards the light gray and pink.Alternally we find also the siliceous sandstones, carbonate of calcium and iron.) The color is intense ruby red with purple reflections. The persistent floral and fruity scents of violets and small red fruits give it pleasant immediacy. The contained tannins and the calibrated and elegant structure make it "the daily wine" par excellence, satisfying without being too demanding.

Deep red with shimmering purplish highlights. The nose is redolent of impressions of fresh vegetables, fresh-cut oak, and wild berry. The palate shows significant alcoholic warmth, but remains eminently approachable, while a firm acidity ensures aromatic continuity from the nose. The finish hints at subtle, smooth almond.

Pelissero-Munfrina-Dolcetto-d’Alba
The Dolcetto Munfrina is one of the finest Dolcetti produced in Italy today. The wine is supple and solid with huge extracted fruit that melts over the palate like milk chocolate from a chocolate chip cookie just out of the oven. The raspberry, dark cherry, tobacco, and lavender flavors are soft and mature with a velvety quality that can only be described as elegance in a bottle. Luscious and thick, bold and powerful, complex and balanced, full of bright young fruit and still brimming with a multi- faceted character seldom achieved with this grape varietal. This wine is truly a wonder of winemaking. It is the perfect partner for a variety of dishes ranging from heavier fowl, light and dark meats, stew, rabbit, venison, wild boar, red-sauced pasta, pizza and even with rich cheese and bread.

It is a wine that is best when consumed young, however, its rich aromas are maintained with age which allows this Dolcetto to be appreciated even 2 years after bottling.

Brovia-Vignavillej-Dolcetto-d’Alba
Violet-ruby in the glass, with intense arromas of pulpy cherry flesh, this wine has accompanying flavors of blackberries, almonds, and cloves that mingle well with sturdy tannins and the acidity expected of any self-respecting Italian red. Brovia does not exploit his Dolcetto to make additional cash as his Barolos age sit in barrel before release; the family has always considered Dolcetto an early-drinking wine worthy of attention and take care with its élevage. Briefly decant to release its potential and pair with sausages blended with Italian herbal seasonings, white pizza with truffle oil, or a mushroom sauté.
