Wine in Cotes du Rhone

This wine epitomizes what should always be the essence of a true wine. One of the two properties from which grapes are sourced is owned by a childhood friend and the other belongs to my cousins. We have been working together on this wine for 15 years now. Trust and friendship form its basis. The blend of Syrah from Vinsobres with Syrah from Villafranchian terraces in Gard always produces wonderful balance, fleshiness and finesse. You may get to know the 2015 vintage through this wine – the oxblood color, the depth, sappy character and wonderful round tannins for instance. You can easily sense the intensity with which fruit was imbued in 2015, a truly superb vintage. Successfully ripened grapes combined with freshness and our Syrah vines loved a hot July in 2015. This is exemplified in the magnificent wines produced in 2015 in the northern Rhone valley. The whole point of our Côtes du Rhône is to offer an early drinking wine that also has very good aging capacity. I recently tasted the 2007 again which was really complex and still young. Welcome to 2015, the finest vintage since 2010. Blackcurrant, camphor, truffle, rose and blueberry.

Deep and dark red. Shiny. Aromas of fresh fruits with red berries and spices. Full, round and racy. Rounded and smooth tannins. A full-bodied, rich and intensely aromatic wine.

Mainly Grenache, then Cinsault and Syrah.

Famille Perrin Reserve Cotes du Rhone Rouge has a pretty deep color. The nose offers a beautiful aromatic complexity, marked by Grenache and a hint of blackcurrant brought by the ripe Syrah. On the palate, it shows complexity with tannins still present, but with finesse and elegance, and a beautiful freshness. Pairs well with beef, lamb and poultry.

The growing success we have enjoyed over the last three vintages is proof enough that the KL Côtes du Rhône fits both the taste profile and quality standards that our customers have come to expect. Since 1929, this winery has been bringing local vignerons together from the outlying areas of Avignon in the Southern Rhône to produce delicious wines that epitomize the region’s complex terroirs. Kermit works closely with winemaker Jean-François Pasturel to develop the blend. Pasturel is thrilled to be able to have the chance to produce a Côtes du Rhône he does not have to filter to death. It is his tête de cuvée, his pride and joy.

Golden yellow color bright and clear. On the nose, the wine is marked with freshness by very distinct aromas of Viognier. Aromas of white flowers, apricot, acacia and white peach. Fruity wine with a lot of fat and wealth. This is a full wine combining elegance, power and balance.

Tasting Colour : garnet red. Nose : aromas of red fruits (mainly morello cherries) and spices (liquorice, grey pepper). Mouth : this wine has a great structure with firm and silky tannins. Lamb chops. Grilled duck fillets. VINTAGE 2014 Grape variety Mainly Grenache and Syrah. Soil The vineyards of the red Côtes du Rhône “Belleruche” covers 4 departments (Drôme, Vaucluse, Gard and Ardèche) on different soils (clay and calcareous alluvial deposit terraces, clay…) giving to the “Belleruche” an extraordinary richness and complexity. Harvest The grapes are harvested at good maturity. Winemaking The grapes are entirely destemmed. Vatting lasts around 15 days and provides a great tannic structure. This allows ageing and guarantees a good stability. Maturing Ageing is performed in vats with regular pumping over in order to clarify the wine. Alcohol degree 13,5%

Perfectly structured, with aromas of ripe summer fruits balanced by rich fruit flavours and hints of pepper and spice, with a long, generous finish: all the hallmarks of classic Rhône. The perfect partner for a hearty beef stew.

Bold red in color with a ruby hue. In the nose, you'll find concentrated aromas of wild cherry and blackberry fruit alongside more exotic flavors of anise, white pepper, cocoa, and fig. Full but firm in texture with a burst of berries and spice on the palate. This wine is an ideal match for juicy roasts, savory stews, and even mom's meatloaf. If there was such a thing as comfort wine, this would be it!

Famille Perrin Reserve Cotes du Rhone Blanc opens with a subtle nose, with hints of white flowers, honeysuckle, and sage. Round and supple in the mouth, this wine reveals beautiful minerality, freshness, and a slight bitterness on the finish. Pair this Blanc alongside delicate or spicy (saffron) dishes, grilled fish, and bouillabaisse.

showing more richness and depth, the 2012 Cotes du Rhone Belleruche Rouge possesses classic Southern Rhone notes of black cherries, spice and background earthiness to go with a medium-bodied, fruit-loaded profile on the palate. It too should be consumed over the coming couple of years and offers high quality for not much buck.

Classic Cotes-du-Rhone that emphasizes integrity of 100% Grenache fruit. It's bottled unfiltered after close to two years of "elevage" at the winery, to let the flavors come into full bloom and soften the tannins (which aren't heavy, in any case). Rich -- but not at all jammy -- raspberry notes gain complexity from perfectly interwoven hints of black pepper spice and garrigue herbs. Full-flavored enough for grilled foods, but it's medium weight makes it adaptable for lighter meats, richer fish and pastas.
