Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah La Piu Belle has a captivating ruby color with a deep blue halo that captures the attention. The nose is remarkably intense, balanced, elegant and mysterious, recalling aromas that engage all the senses, starting with delicate fragrances of strawberries, raspberries and dark berries; it continues with aromas of wild flowers, lavender and violet. Enthusiastic, somewhat shy, but firm notes of spices appear, with a touch of oak and personality, that makes the wine more complex but friendly at the same time. The attack is incredibly fresh, silky, with body and structure. The tannins are round and elegant, with a long and lengthy finish. Harvested in early March, the fruit is lush and bright with focused acidity. To preserve aromatics the wine is 100% whole cluster pressed then undergoes a long, cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Energetic and elegant, La Piu Belle 2019 is fruit-forward with a dry finish. Cabernet Sauvignon gives the nose ripe red berries and round tannins on the mid-palate. Cabernet Franc adds accents of graphite and floral scents of lavender and violet. Blended they present notes of summer stone fruit, apricots, and passion fruit with a surprising hint of citrus on the finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah VIK is an exclusive wine, elegant and cheerful, with characteristics similar to the great wines of Bordeaux but with more freshness, more fruit, more dynamic with a great precision of the tannins but without excess. A balanced wine, which is very subtle with great aromatic freshness. A fresh attack, very fine silky, with elegant and round tannins of long persistence. It is a very balanced and elegant wine. 2013 Vintage-96 pts James Suckling 92 pts Wine Spectator
