The light, slightly sweet wines of Moscato d'Asti have found their footing in the past few years. The fragrant aromas of white blossoms and ripe peaches are intoxicating. This lovely wine will always be lower in alcohol and sweeter than the more famous Champagne, but those reasons are why it is so graceful.

Our Moscato d’Asti D.O.C.G. Dulcis has an exclusive bottle. With its special nest shape crafted by master glassmakers, it surrounds and protects the wine inside. The sinuosity reminds the elegant perlage of Moscato d'Asti and make this wine an object of design.

Chinati-Vergano-Vermouth
Vermouth was first produced in 1786 in Torino, its name coming from the principal ingredient wormwood, or wermut as the Germans would say. Mauro’s base wine consists of Cortese and Moscato from local producers, the former offering brightness and acid, the latter aromatics. These wines are blended with a mixture of raw alcohol, wormwood, citrus skin and herbs like thyme, marjoram, basil and oregano. In the hands of Mauro, we get an unusually detailed, delicate white Vermouth, the best we have tried.

Alessandro Boido only bottles this wine when we order it and it is one of only a few estate-bottled, vintage-dated Astis. The Asti Spumante shows a lot of tiny bubbles, fresh red apple aromas and flavors, moderate sweetness and a freshness in the finish that is rare in this type.
