“Mu” has a ripe fruit aroma with elements of melon and grapes. Talk about a soft and clean sake, this Daiginjo lives up to its name “nothingness,” as full flavors such as white grapes and strawberries vanish in a whisper finish. It is surprisingly light for such a generous mouth speed. The acidity play is enveloped in fruit overtones that are well balanced, and unlike most Daiginjos this one gets smoother the more it warms up. WORD: Grapes – WINE: Soft reds/light whites – BEER: Pale Ales – FOODS: Oysters, shell fish, sashimi, oily pasta.
Clear light silver color. Mild, creamy aromas of nougat, toasted coconut, and latte with a silky, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity light body and a tingling, interesting, easy papaya cream, radish, spiced pineapple, and potato skin finish. A big, warming and artfully balanced sake that makes a nice impact.
Opaque creamy white ivory color. Aromas of freshly sliced red radish, white peppercorn, fish tank water, and ripe pineapple husk with a lightly chunky, fruity medium body and a mango, chalk, and pineapple sauce finish.
YAEGAKI Dry represents the top of YAEGAKI’s domestic sake line. It is made with rice polished to the extent that the nearly 40% of each grain has been polished away, and is brewed at a low temperature for a long period of time. Full-bodied and slightly acidic, YAEGAKI Dry goes well with a wide variety of foods.
This is an authentic sake brewed in the United States under the Supervision of Reiko Kushibiki, the first female sake master in the U.S. Yaegaki is smooth and full-bodied. Enjoy warm or cold.
