Red coupage based on the indigenous Spanish grapes par excellence, Tempranillo, along with the elegant Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety, thereby making up each variety 50% of the blend. This wine has followed a long-extended maceration and barrel ageing using a diverse range of barriques, however these were predominantly French. The highest-quality Caucasian barrels were also chosen, due to their ability to respect the fruit characteristics of the wine as well as to transfer complex floral notes.
