A 100% McLaren Vale blend aged one year in 90% new American oak, the deep purple-black colored 2012 Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz shows beautiful black fruit, warm cassis and mulberry notes with a spot of preserved plums, anise and yeast extract. This very spicy, very big and full-bodied wine is rich, viscous and concentrated. It finishes long and just a little warm.
The 2013 Two Left Feet combines the best elements of Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in a seamless blend. The Merlot has perfumed fruit while the Shiraz brings richness as well as depth and the Cabernet provides firm tannins and dark blackberry flavours. The combination creates great complexity but also great length, mocha and spice are the lasting flavours but each new taste shows more attractive fruit and delicious flavours.
