The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay combine to produce a fresh, fruity nose with almond and white flower aromas. Full and generous in the mouth, N°21 epitomizes a lovely harmony between freshness and fruit.
This wine has the noblest pedigree imaginable, coming as it does from the Côte de Nuits. The grapes were grown on Nuits-Saint-Georges village on the plot “Petit Chaillot” (GPS:47°07'23.8N 4°56'41.6E) which is located on the Premeaux-Prissey side, over the D974 road. The 60 years old vine, selected by our vinicultarist come from a visual selection of the most robust vines of the parcel. It produces very small bunches of Pinot Noir grapes with very thick skins; a sign that the wine will have great concentration and a naturally low yield 25hL/ha.
