The 2016 crop of Sauvignon Blanc was graced with a nice dry and warm summer followed by moderate fall temperatures. This allowed us to harvest the grapes over the course of three weeks, helping capture the full profile of flavors. Gently pressed, cool fermented with a multitude of yeast strains for added complexity, blended to perfection, and bottled early for freshness, our 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is a benchmark.
Delightful flavors of ripe apple, lemon meringue, pear and caramel
The Husch Gewurztraminer is considered one of California's best; soft flowers and rose petals in the flavors; medium bodied; crisp, and off-dry in the finish.
Splendid aromas of pomegranate, bing cherry, orange, sweet herbs, and vanilla can be found with every swirl and sniff. On the palate the wine is round and plush with a fresh acidity to carry the fruit and add length to the finish. This is an exceptional wine with food and will pair beautifully with a charcuterie plate, pan seared duck breast, wild mushroom risotto, or grilled swordfish
Husch’s Old Vine Zinfandel is grown at the historic Garzini Ranch in the warm Ukiah Valley. These gnarly, head pruned, old vines have low yields and intense flavors. Old Vine Zinfandel is one of Mendocino County’s treasures, and we are excited to showcase a part of what makes Mendocino County so special for grapes.
