An original rose with a very pale pink color plus grey and whitish tints. The bouquet reveals delightful red berry scents. A slight sparkle on the palate gives the wine all its freshness and brings out its fruit to the full. The elegant finish is pleasantly fresh and mineral. Grenache is the king of grape varieties when it comes to making light, racy, fruity roses in contemporary style. Grenache reveals all its suppleness and cherry aromas. Its fig and sometimes cocoa flavours, plus its rounded sensations on the palate, make it one of the great varieties of the South of France.
The Domaine de l’Aigle islocated close to the village of Roquetaillade, near Limoux in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The estate covers some 31 hectares, with vines planted between 250 and 500 metres above sea level, making it one of the highest vineyards in the Haute Vallée de l’Aude, and indeed the Languedoc. Chardonnay vines thrive in climatic conditions similar to those of Burgundy, where the grape originated; an oceanic climate with continental influences, frequent rain fall and a wide temperature range. The Domaine de l’Aigle estate produces Languedoc-Roussillon wines with a surprising freshness and an exceptional minerality. The vines are grown in compliance with the rules of sustainable agriculture set by Terra Vitis, with trace ability level and production techniques accredited by independent inspectors.
The South of France and especially the area around the Mediterranean coast, is famous for its oysters and its vineyards. Perles de Sauvignon Blanc pays tribute to this region and to the pearls that can be found in the oysters. The wine is made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc, which is an emblematic grape from the South of France and goes perfectly well with oysters and grilles fishes. The glass stopper with a blue color evokes the Mediterranean coast, the cradle of this wine. The bottle, wearing its pearl necklace, is a unique model in the world imagined by the designer Chantal Thomass, a well-known French designer.
Fresh and flavorsome, this 100% Chardonnay comes from the coastal vineyards. It offers fresh notes of citrus, ripe apple and white flowers. Aging in barrels brings out key toasty notes and aromas of hazelnut. Overall it is a well-balanced wine, fresh and mineral.
Complex aromas of black fruit and ripe fruit with subtle hints of spices and earth. This is a full wine characteristic of the elegant Corbieres region.
