The Crémant Brut is made with a blend of different Alsatian varietals. The Pinot blanc gives it softness and a good balance. The Riesling brings bright and fruity flavors. And finally, the Pinot gris offers richness and roundness to the product. The grapes we use for the production of Crémant are handpicked at the start of the harvest, when they offer for vinication their optimum balance harmony. The grapes keep a little acidity which will bring freshness to the wine. You'll appreciate the bright yellow color with its tiny bubbles and the nose will reveal lemon aromas and slightly acid notes. Then ripe fruits will express very well in a rich and elegant palate.
This wine is made with 100% riesling, fermented in stainless steel tanks, like the other ones, and is bone dry. The riesling grape grows exceptionnally well in Alsace and has developed its own style, which is very appealing because it pairs so well with food. The nose is full of notes of lemon, white flowers, and granny smith apples. The flavors are very fresh and clear, not sweet at all. We often recommend to drink this wine quite young to preserve all these aromas and freshness that is why it should be drunk in the 5 following years. However it is also interesting to let the Riesling age and develop some aromas of quince, nut and a great minerality through the petrol.
