The 2018 DETAILS Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from the finest appellations in Sonoma County. The majority of the Cabernet Sauvignon for the blend comes from Sonoma Valley. Both Knights Valley and Alexander Valley are cooler climates for Cabernet Sauvignon, which bring elegance, nuance, and acid structure to the blend. Dry Creek boasts incredibly rocky soils that drain exceptionally well, which helps to stress the vines late in the growing season, adding varietal character. Chalk Hill is located along the western slopes of the Mayacamas Mountain within the northeast corner of the Russian River AVA and is relatively warm due to the influence of a thermal belt that runs through the area, adding another layer of complexity to the unique Cabernet Sauvignon blend.
