Beautiful pale salmon pink with shades of violet in colour, this rosé belies an enticingly floral nose perfumed with sweet aromas of candy floss, raspberry and strawberry. The delightfully enticing nose precedes a sweet entry that dries out on the palate into crisp flavours of elegant red berry before finishing with a soft but sumptuous zesty acidity.
Pale straw in color with youthful lime green flashes around the edges, aromas of grapefruit, guava, and granadilla are underscored by rich, balanced fruit flavors and a long aftertaste.
This crisp, grassy Sauvignon Blanc is named after the coach house (koetshuis in Afrikaans) where wagons were kept on the farm in days gone by. Estate fruit from Durbanville is blended with fruit from Darling to create a fresh wine with capsicum, asparagus, and gooseberry flavours.
This Pinot Noir is grown on the Graaff family farm high in the continental climate of the Witzenberg mountains on the Ceres Plateau. The farm is 960 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest altitude vineyards in South Africa. Luscious red cherry, blackberry and pine needle notes pair with a long and velvety finish.
The wine is inspired by fond memories of the Almond Orchard through which the young Sir De Villiers Graaff would go horse riding with his grandfather. A perfumed, accessible and elegantly balanced wine with a bright cherry plum red colour. Caramelised banana and vanilla pods on the nose are aptly supported by black cherry and blueberry aromas, with hints of fennel, clove, cardamom and pepper (Chinese five spice). On the palate, a smooth entry is followed by sweet and sour dried cranberry with nuances of mulberry and mocha.
