This Chenin Blanc comes from the chalky soils of Saint Louand in the western part of the Chinon appellation. The color of yellow topaz, its nose is reminiscent of peeling an orange while sitting on wet rocks by the sea. Citrusy and minerally on the palate, this dry Chenin is crisp and fresh and persistent, and it is a natural with rich shellfish like langoustines or Santa Barbara spot prawns.
