The Château Rauzan Gassies cellar is home to bottles that are remarkable in terms of age and size. The oldest bottles date back to 1944. Thanks to regular upkeep, refilling and new corks, we have preserved the vintages with great cellaring potential over time. Approximately two-thirds of our vintages are kept in the cellar. Thanks to chateau cellaring, those who love old vintages can enjoy the full expression of the wine. The cellar is not only a family heirloom, it is also a vital quality reference tool for our blending process, when we craft a new vintage by comparing it to older vintages.
