Very explosive nose, dominated by pure red fruit, toasted oak, scorched earth, and tobacco. The fruit is pure and quite enjoyable on the finish which is long and dry.
Despite its relatively unknown status, Château Nicot has been under vine now for two centuries. A supple, seductive wine boasting a solid core of ripe fruit and curlicues of smoke that elevate it to well above intriguing. Plummy and concentrated.
