This is a soft and rich red with deep plummy fruit flavours and a touch of smoky oak. It's a hugely rewarding wine that's drinking well now, or will keep for five years. Turns roast lamb in to a fabulous feast.
A blend of 90% Merlot, bringing soft, ripe, rounded flavours, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon that adds structure and notes of forest fruits. Barrel-ageing adds hints of clove and sweet spice as well as smooth texture.
