Giscours '06 is moderatly dense with a ripe, sweet, scented yet muted black fruit nose. The wine has a soft center and finish with moderate tannic grip. Attractive pure fruit notes remain. Elegant and fine. Tasted from barrel April '07. By early 2009, Giscours is open to the nose, soft, fragrant and inviting. In the mouth, the wine is textured with a soft, ample center balanced by gentle, fine tannins in a lasting finish enhanced by sweet fruit notes. Charming, elegant and classically Margaux.
