Cento Filari Lugana hails from a single vineyard that flanks Veneto’s border with Lombardi along the southern shores of Lake Garda. Floral and citrus fruit aromas abound on the nose of this full-bodied white. It boasts good minerality and balanced acidity with a pleasantly soft, lengthy finish. Fermented in stainless steel, it rests in contact with the skins for several months before blending.
A single-vineyard Amarone, the Il Bosco vineyard is nestled in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. The wine is rich with concentrated flavors of preserved fruit, particularly cherries. Aged in a combination of French and Slavonian oak barrels for 2+ years then bottle for an additional year or so, the bouquet is layered with hints of baking spices, cocoa, and toasted nuts through the long finish. A unique and complex production process renders a wine with similar characteristics. Hand-selected grapes are dried prior to vinification in stainless steel tanks.
Derived from the Italian word gemma, which has a dual meaning of “vine bud” and “precious gem,” Jèma is a pure expression of Corvina – the region’s signature varietal. Produced from a 3-hectare single vineyard located in the heart of Valpolicella Classico, Cesari’s “gem” is full, supple, and well-balanced with rounded tannins. Cherries pervade the nose backed by toasted mocha notes lent from 18 months of aging in French oak barrels. The grapes were dried in crates for 20 days prior to vinification. This wine is produced in limited quantities in only the finest vintages.
