Il Vino dei Poeti Prosecco DOC is a Brut sparkling wine, obtained by Glera grapes grown according to classic, traditional techniques in the province of Treviso. Over the years, typicality and quality, the distinctive traits of these grapes, have remained unchanged, making Prosecco the most famous and best-selling Italian wine all over the world.
Bottega Gold is a Prosecco Doc Brut sparkling wine, obtained by the vinification in white of the Glera grapes, grown in the Valdobbiadene hills. This area is close to the Venetian Prealps and characterized by a climate perfect for this native variety of grape. The vineyards are located on a hilly territory that not only has a landscape of great value but also a long wine-growing tradition. These grapes are hand picked and softly pressed in the winery. The must obtained is maintained in stainless steel containers at low temperature to keep its freshness. It follows the fermentation in autoclave for nearly 40 days, at a controlled temperature of 14-15° C, with the addition of selected yeasts (Charmat method). The golden bottle protects the wine by any source of light, preserving its aroma and freshness thus giving the wine a longer life.
Estate-bottled Bottega Vinaia is the outcome of a vision by lead winemaker Anselmo Martini at the widely recognized Cavit winery. Starting in the early 1990s, Martini sought to explore the optimum potential of a handful of extraordinary vineyards in northern Italy’s Trentino region that, year after year, consistently produce the highest quality grapes. This select group of family-farmed vineyards is the source of Bottega Vinaia, an exceptional line of artisan wines that reflects the authentic qualities of the Trentino terroir. Thanks to Anselmo Martini’s passion and tireless drive, Bottega Vinaia has swiftly joined the ranks of Italy’s top-notch premium wine producers.
