The color is pure, pale yellow and the nose has aromas of citrus, grapefruit, lime and melon. Crisp and clean, with flavors of lime, grapefruit, star fruit, and a gentle twist of lemon. Medium acidity, subtle hints of herbal notes compliment the fruit notes adding a nice complexity! This wine would be a great substitute for Pinot Grigio fans, add two green olives and who needs a martini? With an ever-so-subtle hint of jalapeño this could replace your spicy margarita!
Welcome to our first ever all-estate grown and bottled Viognier from Bergevin Springs VY. Af- ter admiring the bright pale-yellow color, your senses are aroused by aromas of citrus and flowers - orange blossom, honey, spice, so nice! The mouth-watering acidity of the first sip is quickly countered by a viscous mid-palate - a weight and balance very common to great Viogniers. Flavors of dried apricots and a whiff of white pepper are both youthful and fresh, and very complex, which makes it a very food-friendly, summer-friendly wine; Pair with Crab Cakes, Lobster Eggrolls, or apricot cheesecake.
The fruit is black as night on the nose, with black cherry, blackberry and cassis mingling with light spice and heavy earthiness. The palate is also dominated by dark fruit, vibrant blackberry, deep dark currant and plum set in a bowl of light spice and smooth tannins. The finish is cedar, cherry flesh and blackberry.
The Linen Red is created to be a drinkable, affordable every day red with a refined character. Grapes are selected from vineyards throughout Washington’s Columbia Valley. Fermented in small lots using traditional techniques, Linen is aged for 16 months in small oak barrels then thoughtfully blended. 2011 was a Classic Washington vintage (warm sunny days and cool nights) resulting in a wine with a fresh, spicy nose. Balanced acidity, powerful dark fruit flavors and a lingering finish make for easy drinking.
Wild aromas of blackberry and cassis packed in a cedar chest. A smooth silky pack- age of Plum, black cherry and sticky blackberry lasts on the palate. Bright fleshy cherry, vanilla and spice on the forever finish. This merlot will age gracefully through 2019.
