Avinyo's Cava Brut Rosé is produced from 100% estate-grown, single vineyard (La Fassina), free run Pinot Noir and is, not surprisingly, 100% delicious. Aged on its lees for 18 months and disgorged just before bottling, the wines at Avinyo are a family affair that dates back to the 19th century, with 4th generation Joan Esteve and his 4 children all involved.
Far from being a commercial Cava, the Avinyó Rosé is a serious wine with full, decadent textures and a fruit-forward personality. Bright red fruit aromas combine with subtle toast notes, and on the palate the wine is fresh and vibrant with light spicy elements. Drink on Valentine's Day, or any day, with that special someone.
