From the northern portion of Italy comes a wonderful sparkling wine that is sure to pair well with any celebration. This refreshing Bollé was produced in a picturesque town called Col San Martino in the Treviso province, where, since 1984, Andreola has used the loamy clay and sandstone subsoil to plant 28 hectares of grapes used almost exclusively for a series of prosecco wines. The Bollé is a combination of Raboso Piave, Raboso Veronese and Merlot, resulting in a delightful bottle of sparkling rosé that offers hints of strawberry without sweetness.
A Prosecco Superiore with an “extra brut” disposition and an elegant lingering fine perlage. Ideal for entrees and suitable throughout the meal, including fish dishes. Best served at 10-12 °C.
A special wine that stands out from the great number of prosecco offerings from Italy’s Treviso province, the Verv is comprised of 100% Glera. It first greets the nose with the scents of lemon, citrus and a hint of floral sweetness before the palate experiences its pungent notes of white pepper and dried herbs, but the Verv’s foamy effervescence and polished finish round out a beautiful sparkling wine that pairs well with spicy finger foods.
