Pinot Grigio is more than just the Italian name for Pinot Gris. Although the two names refer to a single grape variety, the wine styles they represent are clearly distinct from one another. The difference between Pinot Grigio wines and Pinot Gris wines is so clear and well-established that the two are often treated as if they were two distinct varieties.
Description: brilliant straw yellow with a green shimmer. Quite pronounced and expressive aroma with flowery and somewhat spicy notes. Rich flavoured in the mouth, with a slight smokiness at the back and a good, fresh finish. When properly cellared, this will drink well for 2 to 4 years.
Bright straw-yellow color with green reflections. Fresh, quite pronounced floral notes and impressions of subtropical fruit. Medium-bodied, vinous with a harmonious flavor, dry. Good fresh, quite intense, long lasting aftertaste. When properly cellared, this wine will may be kept for at least 3 to 5 years.
