The Maltman Highland Park 11 Year

Highland Park was founded in 1798 and is located in Kirkwall, Orkney Island. It is the most northern distillery in Scotland, about a mile away to the north of Scapa distillery. Highland Park is one of the few distilleries that malt their own barley, it has its own floor maltings and peat beds and two traditional peat-fired kilns. They use a mix of peated and non peated barley, with the total phenol content about 20 ppm. Highland Park is a very renowned distillery, and its single malts constantly win awards in world competitions. The Maltman range of single malts is produced by Meadowside Blending company, based in Glasgow , Scotland. They offer an excellent range of fine single malt Scotch whiskies, as well as fine blended Scotch whisky for all tastes and budgets. As independent bottlers they are able to remain impartial and only put their name to the best quality of whiskies available. The Maltman range, all single cask releases, is without any added coloring or chill-filtration. The whisky is kept as natural as the day it left the cask, leaving all the goodness of mother earth’s oils, fats and proteins, offering you a dram with outstanding aroma, texture and most importantly, taste.
