Part of Balvenies group of six limited edition cask finished 17 year olds. This was initially matured in traditional oak casks before a finish in Madeira fortified wine casks. Nose: Good sweetness, thick, spicy. Sultana, winter spices, toffee apple. Palate: Full, thick. Lovely orchard fruits, some cherry, walnut, vanilla and fig. Finish: Drying oak, toffee.
