Privateer “The Queens Share” Single Cask Rum

Queen's Share rum was reserved for royalties' special occasions and known to be the best barrels in a distillery. It takes meticulous distilling, additional cut collection, re-distillation, and extended aging to fulfill its promise of dense flavor and plush texture. Sadly, it became a victim of the bottom lines and large volume manufacturing. We take great pride in being a part of this traditional rum's revival. Privateer's Queen's Share rum is made from the richest cuts of all our rum distillations. These small amounts are collected over many distillations and then redistilled together to create a rich, powerful, and flavorful spirit. Each Queen's Share is a single batch, single barrel expression with effusive aromatics, opulent body, and luscious texture. Tasting notes include golden raisin, honey, macadamia nut, and toasted coconut.
