Nikka Single Malt Yoichi 15 Year

Finally here! With the global appetite for Japanese whiskey reaching a feverish level, the second biggest company on the island has finally graced the United State with its presence. Nikka has long been the Pepsi to Suntory's Coca-Cola. With more richness, nuttiness, and stone-fruited character than something like the Yamazaki 12, the 15 year old is a peated (aka smoky) expression from Nikka that offers incredible depth and nuance in a very elegant package. A remarkable whiskey for those in the know.
