The oldest and rarest expression in the Orcadian vintage series, Highland Park 1964 is a marriage of just two casks hand-selected for their exceptional character, and bottled in 2009 after 45 years maturation. A legendary release of just 290 bottles, this single malt Scotch whisky has a nose of toasted oak, toffee and dried strawberries, a rich palate with toasted vanilla pods and crushed black pepper, and a long and spicy finish. The 1964 Vintage has been bottled in bespoke black glass created by acclaimed glass specialist Stölzle Flaconnage. The handcrafted outer oak wooden box is finished with a silver amulet created by Orkney-based jeweler, Aurora.
