A special edition of Highland Park created to explore the similarities between making whisky and making music, 17 year old Full Volume illustrates the fine skills and decades long expertise of Highland Park Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion. Like a musician, Gordon must ensure every individual flavor note finds its perfect place in each expertly harmonized finished whisky he creates. To craft this special edition, Gordon used only American Oak ex-bourbon casks from 1999. The resulting whisky is layered with notes of creamy vanilla, fresh pineapple and sweet citrus balanced by Highland Park’s characteristic smokiness.
