Helmut x Porfidio (Vintage 2018)

[TEQUILA-BARREL-AGED WHITE WINE] 'Helmut x Porfidio' is a Austrian white wine from Styria that is made exclusively from dry Welschriesling grapes, a centuries-old local Austrian grape variety grown on magnesium-rich soils, same as the agave. The grapes are 100% single-estate grown, hand-harvested, and organically certified. This wine undergoes bio-fermentation and is aged in one-time-used tequila barrels, made of the best American oak, whose staves had been slowly perfused with a hint of single-agave tequila over its two years’ maturation period.
