Ron Carupano Oro 12 year old rum was sampled last year while vacation in Caracas, and this rum was quite a disappointment. Strong alcohol smell, no flavors clearly identifiable and very strong burn at the end. There are easily 50 better aged 12 year old rums out there for you to explore than Carupano.
