Delord-Napoleon-Bas-Armagnac
The opening aroma is atypical but following aeration the aroma becomes more of a customary Armagnac perfume as scents of sweet oak, prunes, cocoa, spice and raisins meld. The palate entry is assertive, sweet and raisiny; at midpalate a brief flash of spirit is followed by fat flavors of sautéed butter, almond paste, nougat and dark honey. Aftertaste is rich, long and sweet.

Esperance-Armagnac-5-Year
Domaine D'Esperance, a formerly abandoned estate on a hillside in the Sables Fauves of Gascony, was purchased and renovated in 1990 by Jean-Louis and Claire de Montesquiou. The estate's fruit-forward armagnac is produced with Baco 22A and Folle Blanche grown in the sandy clay soil of Grand-Bas-Armagnac at the border of the Landes and the Gers at Mauvezin d'Armagnac. After the grapes undergo natural fermentation, the wine is distilled in a traditional Armagnac still and then matured in gascon oak barrels. Domaine D'Esperance 5 Year Old Bas Armagnac is a blend of three different vintages which have been matured in gascon oak casks for at least five years. An enticing nose of dried fruit, caramel, spicy vanilla and black peppercorn gives way to a lively, medium-bodied palate boasting flavors of toffee, espresso, almond, tobacco leaf and pine. Notes of raisin and spicy oak linger through the clean, assertive finish. Product of France Alcohol by Volume: 40%
Gelas Armagnac Selecion

Gelas-Armagnac-Selecion
A blend of 3 to 5 year-old Armagnac made from Ugni Blanc and Baco grapes. Notes of honey and dried plums. Soft and smooth, with a satisfying sweetness on the palate. While the Gelas family can trace its origins in Gascony back through the centuries, Maison Gelas Armagnac was founded in 1865 and has been in its present location in Vic Fezensac ever since. The firm is now run by the engaging Philippe Gelas, who represents the 4th generation of the Gelas family at the helm. Today the production follows the techniques of distillation traditional to the region, but the marketing is modern and innovative. Philippe Gelas offers a wide range of styles of Bas Armagnac and imaginative presentations. Most importantly, the vague old designations such as Reserve and Hors d’Age have been replaced by precise statements of age such as 8 years, 18 years, and 25 years, complemented by an essential entry-level “Selection.”

Fresh, supple and well-rounded on the palate, revealing a subtle union of vanilla oak and fruit. Good length, with the aromas of dried fruit and toast on the finish.

Esperance-Armagnac-Xo
Domaine D'Esperance is run by the legendary de Montesquiou family. Their lineage dates back at least 900 years and they've inspired numerous people with their exploits, most famously documented by Alexandre Dumas in his book The Three Musketeers. The wines they produced in the Gascony region over the centuries were just as popular and after a 400yr hiatus they are back in business with some incredible Armagnacs. This XO is a blend of eau de vies that are all a minumum of 10 years old. They are aged first in new oak for a short period of time before being decanted into used barrels for the duration of the maturation process. The result yields a spirit rich in color with a deep copper tone. Enticing floral aromas of jasmine and rose hips transition beautifully into ripe fruit notes of bruised apples coated with cinnamon and dense orange blossom honey. On the palate, the mouth-coating texture really shows off the maturity of the XO and flavors of caramel, vanilla, nutmeg and other spices dominate. There is a really nice balance of delicacy and boldness achieved here. No artificial coloring or flavoring is ever added. This is amongst the first bottlings from this producer to make it stateside and we couldn't be more thrilled to offer them to the lucky few who will get them while they last.

Chateau-Arton-Fine-Blanche-Haut-Armagnac
The original Blanche Armagnac. In 1982, Patrick de Montal first opted to bottle the freshly distilled wine coming from the still - prior to being officially allowed to use the name Armagnac - and called it "Fine Blanche". Patrick then started working with the French government to expand the AOC, Blanche Armagnac being allowed on the label in 2005. This unaged spirit has become the darling of the craft cocktail bartender - a unique substitute for Vodka, Gin, Rum and other classic white spirits, but bringing the full character of the fresh wine. Distilled entirely from wines produced from their own vines, in the extremely small and rare sub-region of Haut Armagnac. A distinctive, unique and transformative ingredient, to be enjoyed chilled neat, with tonic, or in any number of creative cocktail application. Chateau Arton presents a line of entirely estate grown Armagnacs coming from the rare and distinctive Haut Appellation. “Grown, not produced” and created by two icons in the world of Armagnac, Patrick de Montal and his wife Victoire de Montesquiou at their home near Lectoure, France. From vines they planted in the 1970's, pursuing a lifelong dream to one day own their own vineyards. Sempé 15 Year Old Armagnac is dark amber colored. It has gentle aromas of candied fruits and dried plums. In the mouth, it stretches from vanilla to subtle oak, developing notes of aged leather as it warms in the hand. There is a distinct taste of cocoa on its long finish. Armagnac is best served in a pear shaped glass with a round belly and tapered chimney or a champagne glass as opposed to a brandy snifter. Hold the glass at chest level and let the aroma waft up. Take a small sip to coat the mouth with its delicate flavors. As the glass and evening progress, your hand cupped on the glass will warm the Armagnac releasing new aromas and flavors.
