Production 14 Year Old Single Cask Scotch. “A Day at the Coast” comes from Clynelish Distillery, was distilled in 1997, and bottled in August 2011. The scotch is a limited edition, and only 354 bottles were released. Bouquet Starts with a crisp scent of sea spray. Underneath that is the vibrant sweetness of apples, along with some low-lying musty and woody notes. Tasting Notes The wood supplants the salty sea breeze, but mixes well with a foundation of vanilla and apple pie sweetness. Peaty notes The scotch also carries notes of peatiness, and has a noticeable, but not overpowering spicy bite to it, producing a flavor that is well-balanced.

The scotch is a limited edition, and only 202 bottles were released. Bouquet Very sawdusty and sandy. Tasting Notes Sweet, biscuit notes before falling away to reveal a slight grassy and coastal note. Color Light straw. Alcohol 46%
Smoky, punchy, and stacked (geddit) with flavour. This is a terrific blended malt from Wemyss.
The Hive is a delicious 12 year old blended malt whisky from Wemyss Malts, with a strong emphasis on honeyed, malty Speyside Scotch. Very tasty, this was awarded 93 points by Jim Murray in his 2012 Whisky Bible.

Nose: Peppery, fruity and malty with notes of cinnamon, orange zest and hints of coconut. Palate: Spicy with nutmeg, black pepper, toasted barley and lightly charred oak. Finish: Rich and intense with coconut oil and malt on the tail. Overall: An excellent spicy dram. A 8 year old blended malt whisky from Wemyss Malts. It is made with various single malts, based around a 12 year old Island whisky. Very good indeed!
