This vodka is produced from 100% Hudson Valley apples grown at Tantillo’s Farm and other local orchards, just miles from the distillery. After the apples are pressed and the cider is fermented, each batch is distilled two times in order to retain the essence of the apples that were its source. No flavors are added. Wonderful chilled or in martinis and cocktails featuring apple cider.
Indigenous Vodka is distilled from Hudson Valley apple cider in small batches, handcrafted in one batch at a time. This is not a apple flavored vodka. Each bottle of Indigenous Vodka contains about 80 Hudson Valley apples, pressed to cider, fermented under the watchful eyes of their distillers and then carefully guided through their 20-plate copper pot still to create this unique vodka. Though exceptionally clean and crisp, it does maintain the character of all those apples that go into every bottle. Both nose and palate are light and fresh, with notes of vanilla, honey, and, of course, apple.
Indigenous Empire State Wheat Vodka is distilled from 100% NY State wheat to achieve both a high level of purity yet retain the rich grain flavors. Extremely versatile, mixable and perfect for any cocktail that calls for vodka. The nose is surprisingly deep and rich with notes of fresh milk, hazelnuts and even fine linen paper. The palate is remarkably supple with a tremendous flavor of cacao nibs, malted shakes and flan.
Tuthilltown Spirits Half Moon Orchard Gin is an innovative spirit produced quite differently than a traditional gin. Instead of flavoring a neutral spirit with a wide array of botanicals, the distillery chose to limit the botanical bill and focus on the base spirit instead. By producing the spirit from New York wheat and apples, then carefully selecting botanicals to compliment and enhance the base, Tuthilltown has created a distinctive gin which adds depth and character to both classic and modern cocktails.
