**** Highly Recommended, F. Paul Pacult (Spirit Journal): [$24 list] Standard-issue milky brown, opaque appearance. The initial two inhalations after the pour detect pleasantly sweet, ripe, and fruity (almost banana-like or plum-like) and cream aromas; aeration adds a touch of light spice (nutmeg?) as a background scent, but the fruit and cream foundation bouquet is the unchallenged star. The palate entry flavor is delightfully off-dry to sweet but neither cloying nor heavy; the midpalate juncture displays a nicely balanced taste profile that's moderately fruity sweet, deftly spicy (now almost peppery/cinnamon), and mildly creamy. The aftertaste is long, more creamy than fruity, and a touch vanilla-like. A noteworthy and racy addition to the cream liqueur sweepstakes. From South Africa.
