Pacific Distillery was founded north of Seattle in some Washington's wine-growing regions. It was actually born from an herb shop where their knowledge of botanicals was put to immediate use in fashioning gin. They work with 19th century technology--in this case a traditional copper pot still favored by many microdistillers--in order to create old world style spirits. Voyager Gin is a self-proclaimed gin lover's gin. As a traditional dry gin, it carries the heavy juniper notes with citrus accents. Pacific Distillers uses grain spirits for their base and all organic botanicals in the flavoring of their gin.
