Already a gold medal winner at the 2016 New York World Wine and Spirits Competition, Maggie's Farm La Revuelta is our unique dark rum, one made more in a traditional Caribbean style where we actually blended the rum. In this case, we mixed our raw cane pot-distilled rum from Pittsburgh in a 50/50 proportion with a column-distilled molasses rum from Trinidad. This produced a rum with the smoothness of an aged column-distilled rum, but with the body and flavor of a younger pot-distilled rum while maintaining a reasonable pricepoint and allowing us to continue properly aging our own Single Barrel rum without interruption.
