Koenig Distillery macerates hand-picked, wild huckleberries in vodka and then slowly distills them in custom-made copper stills. The resulting all-natural spirit has a wonderful ripe berry aroma and a slightly sweet flavor that blends extremely well with other spirits, champagne and freshly squeezed fruit juice to make unusual and elegant cocktails. One of our favorite ways to enjoy it is mixed with fresh lemonade.
Using our hand-built copper pot stills, we are able to produce a superior tasting vodka due to exceptional reactive qualities that copper creates. The combination of the copper pot distillation and the unique qualities of potatoes results in a vodka of unsurpassed smoothness. The potatoes are more difficult to distill but the final product has a quality, consistency and elegance not obtained by any other method.
Named for the water it uses from the Seven Devils mountain range, this is Idaho's first bourbon though that statement may be a bit misleading as it is distilled in Kentucky, but bottled in Idaho. Koenig Distillery and Winery also has wine, brandy, and vodka to their name but this is their initiation into the whiskey world.
