To create Angostura® 7 Year Old rum, Angostura’s Master Blender selects from light, medium and heavy rums that have been aging for a minimum of 7 years. The blend is then returned to casks to further marry its flavors. The result: A truly memorable rum of rich medium body.
Angostura® 5 Year Old Rum is an exquisite blend of light gold rums, aged for a minimum of 5 years in used bourbon oak barrels and distilled in Angostura’s® multi-column continuous still in Trinidad. Carefully filtered through charcoal before blending, this is a luminescent clear rum with subtle golden highlights.
Angostura® 1824 is an expression of our rich heritage. It was created to celebrate the founding of the House of Angostura®, by Johann G.B. Seigert almost 200 years ago and embodies traditions and expertise developed over the lifetime of the company. An exquisite blend of 4 rums aged between 5 and 17 years, Angostura® 1824 is blended from the finest mature rums, hand-picked by our Master Blender from selected casks. It is aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels and then skillfully hand blended and re-casked. Hand-drawn, filtered and bottled, it is offered in very limited supply.
Forres Park Puncheon Rum was developed for the exclusive us of the Fernandes family and their estate workers. The name is derived from the old sugar estate that the family acquired in the 1930’s. The over-proof rum was stored in enormous wooden casks or ‘puncheons’.
