A. de Fussigny was founded in 1814 and is the only producer with an operating distillery in the historical center of the town of Cognac. With deep roots and abiding tradition, A. de Fussigny Cognacs embody the traditional standards for high quality and innovation. Fussigny Cognacs have a complex taste and aroma that capture the terroir of the vineyards, distillation and aging in the heart of Cognac, France. AOC made from a blend of eaux-de-vie of Petite and Grande Champagne, consisting of at least 50% of Grande Champagne.
Fussigny's XO is a Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie blend, comes in both 70cl and 50cl bottles. The spirit consists of at least 50% Grande Champagne wines, the distilling is traditional. The humid cellars of Fussigny are situated at the river of Charente, pushing aromas to where they are supposed to end up. Like all Fussigny Cognacs, the XO is aged in Tronconnais casks or Limousin oak barrels.
Distillery A. de Fussigny was founded in 1814 in the Cognac region, on the shore of the picturesque Charente river. The owners of the distillery organically combine traditional secrets with modern know-how, so classic copper cubes for alcohol distillation, alambiki, here side by side with ultra-modern bottling line. Due to the fact that the distillery were located next to the river, in the basement of the ideal conditions for aging cognac and brandy. It is here that fine drinks mature and reach the desired degree of maturity.
