"Pours nearly opaque with a fading head, some oily legs and no lace. The nose is a tad medicinal and boozy along with fig, prune, chocolate, tobacco, tar, Mexican sugar, molasses, herbal hops and espresso. The taste is mostly sweet malts, some dark fruit twang, earthy tobacco like note with an okay amount of bitterness and charred ashy notes. The mouth feel is oily and sticky but not really heavy, warming and boozy. Young and aggressive that needs to age out but also seems to need a bit more bitterness to counterbalance the sugars. It is worthy a try for any stoutie.
