Vienna Lager is an underappreciated and underrepresented style that’s garnered some die-hard devotees. Similar to an Oktoberfest Marzen, but not quite as heavy or rich, it artfully balances caramel malt sweetness with herbaceous noble hops. Dovetail’s is made with 100% Vienna malt and Styrian Golding hops and it’s a spot-on example of the style.
