Castle Danger George Hunter Stout

This beer is brewed in honor of our brewer and founder’s great-great grandfather. George Hunter was an Irish immigrant from Belfast who owned and operated the Iron Range Brewing Co. in Tower, MN during the late 1800’s up until Prohibition. George Hunter Stout is an American version of the style with aromas of molasses, licorice, maple, coffee and cream that are also echoed in the flavor. Just like the hearty Irishman that he was, George Hunter Stout is a big, roasty, full-bodied brew that will stand up to the cold winters of Minnesota.
